Delta Awards 2026 Selection

We present the Delta Selection 2026: 203 projects competing for the Delta Awards, the annual event that recognizes excellence in industrial design and design culture at the national level.

This edition is particularly significant: after several editions held under the name ADI Awards, the prizes return to their original name, Delta Awards, under which they were first established in 1961. With this return, all categories—Delta Awards for professionals and companies, Delta Medals for students, Delta Culture Awards, and the Delta Lifetime Achievement Award—are brought together under a single umbrella, reinforcing the continuity and historical legacy of the awards within the sector.

The selected projects, chosen from a total of 422 submissions, will be showcased in the “Delta Awards 2026” exhibition, opening on July 22 at the Disseny Hub Barcelona. On the same day, during a ceremony at the DHUB, the final verdict of the juries will be announced and the awards will be presented to the winners.

43rd Delta Awards

The 43rd Delta Awards recognise professional projects that stand out for their innovation, quality and impact in industrial design. This year, the expert panel, comprising Jordi Antonijoan Roset, Teresa Bastardes, Sílvia Bassas, Joan Forrellad, Xavier Majoral, Gabriel Moragas, Marina Cervera, Roser Estelrich, Bernat Faura, Mario Montull, Javier Nieto, Toni Pallejà, Raffaella Perrone and Joan Recasens, has evaluated 227 entries and selected 160 products to be included in the Delta Selection 2026.

For the new Disueño category, a dedicated jury made up of Maria Bruun, Carmen Riestra, Max Enrich and Lluis Pau Coromines selected 12 products from among the 33 proposals submitted.

The final international and independent jury, responsible for awarding the gold and silver prizes, comprises Big-Game Design, Michael Anastassiades, Maria Porro and Rosario Hurtado, renowned figures in the world of design who bring a global perspective and expertise to the prize-awarding process.

Delta Medals — 50 Years

The Delta Medals, aimed at product design students presenting their final-year, master’s or postgraduate projects, reach their 30th edition this year, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of their creation (1976). Over the course of this journey, they have established themselves as a leading platform for showcasing emerging talent and as a bridge between the academic and professional worlds.

This edition has seen record participation, with a total of 104 projects submitted, representing a wide geographical range and involving several universities and design schools. From these, the jury has selected 15 projects, which form part of the Delta Selection 2026.

The jury for this edition comprised Tomás Alonso, Eli Gutiérrez, Pau Padrós, Juan Pérez, Ana Segovia and Ramón Úbeda.

This collection of selected projects offers a glimpse into the lines of work and interests that define the new generations of industrial design.

Delta Cultura Awards — 10th Anniversary

The Delta Cultura Awards, which focus on projects that contribute to the dissemination of and reflection on design, are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, having established themselves as a platform for highlighting initiatives that expand the field of design beyond the product.

In this edition, the call for entries attracted 60 projects across the categories of events and publications, reflecting the diversity of formats through which design culture is constructed and communicated. From these, the jury has selected 16 projects, which now form part of the Delta Cultura 2026 Selection..

The jury was composed of Laura Clèries, Beth Galí, Raquel Pelta, Javier Peña and Bernat Puigdollers.

The selected projects highlight the role of design as a tool for thinking and cultural mediation, with proposals that approach the discipline through research, dissemination and the generation of discourse.
